Day 0: Travel Day

  • Travel Day: Depart Melbourne International Airport for all Melbourne-based athletes.
  • Other interstate and international participants should aim to arrive late Friday.
  • Melbourne-based athletes arrive at Phuket International Airport by 10:30 PM local time, with transfers provided to Thanyapura Sports Resort.
  • Get welcomed, settle into your luxurious 4-star accommodation, and prepare for the days ahead.

Day 1

  • Kick off the camp with a buffet breakfast to fuel your first day of training.
  • Undergo Body Composition and Sweat Rate Analysis to understand your hydration and performance metrics.
  • Begin your training with a moderate morning run (approx. 1 hour), followed by an ice plunge recovery to aid muscle recovery.
  • Recharge with a healthy buffet lunch before diving into an afternoon swim session (50m pool).
  • Wrap up the day with stretching and recovery, enjoy a nutritious dinner, and gather for an evening briefing to discuss the next day.

Day 2

  • Start with an early buffet breakfast to prepare for the famous Bakery Ride.
  • Choose between 50km or 110km as you cycle over the Sarasin Bridge, along the coast, and up to a picturesque bakery stop for coffee.
  • Refuel with a buffet lunch back at Thanyapura before an engaging discussion on fluid loss and heat acclimatization.
  • Enjoy your first massage session (pre-booking required, included in the program).
  • End the day with a delicious dinner and an evening briefing.

Day 3

  • Dive into the day with a 100’s swim interval test set in the 50m pool.
  • Recharge with a buffet breakfast, followed by an easy indoor ride to loosen up.
  • Refuel with a healthy lunch before a restorative massage session.
  • Dedicate the afternoon to stretching and recovery before dinner.
  • Conclude with a briefing to align for the next day’s activities.

  • Fuel up with an early buffet breakfast before tackling a short but intensive bike ride, followed by an ice plunge recovery.
  • Recharge with a nutritious lunch before taking a well-deserved rest and recovery period.
  • The afternoon features a solid track running session, focusing on sweat rate adaptation.
  • Wrap up with stretching, a healthy dinner, and time to unwind.

  • Begin with the first of two swim sessions for the day in the 50m pool.
  • Follow up with an active run session to keep your legs sharp.
  • Recharge with a buffet lunch, then prepare for the afternoon swim session, focusing on moderate volume and technique.
  • Take time to stretch and recover before dinner and your evening briefing.

Day 6

  • Start your morning with a buffet breakfast and optional myotherapy sessions (pre-booking required).
  • Head out for a strength endurance ride (50-70km, approx. 1.5-2 hours), followed by an ice plunge recovery.
  • Refuel with a buffet lunch before tackling an interval running session.
  • Wrap up with a massage session, stretching, and a well-earned dinner.

Day 7

  • Fuel up with an early buffet breakfast for long run day, customized to your current training build, followed by an ice plunge recovery.
  • Recharge with a healthy lunch before an afternoon swim session (moderate volume).
  • Enjoy a restorative massage session and take some time to relax.
  • In the evening, immerse yourself in local Thai culture with a trip to a bustling local market, where you’ll enjoy a delicious Thai dinner and have the chance to shop for unique souvenirs.

  • Begin with an early buffet breakfast and prepare for a ride time trial, focusing on strength endurance and pacing.
  • Refuel with a buffet lunch before tackling a run sweat test session to fine-tune your threshold, pacing, and hydration strategy.
  • End the day with a massage session, a delicious dinner, and time to relax before race prep.

Day 9: Final Day

  • Start the day with an early buffet breakfast before heading out for another Bakery Ride (50km or 110km).
  • Return for a buffet lunch and a massage session to help your body recover.
  • Use the afternoon for final preparations and pack for your journey home.
  • Enjoy one last buffet dinner, then transfer to Phuket International Airport for departure.

Very professional training camp facilitated at a five star training facility supported by knowledgable, caring coaches along with our own myo therapist and yoga teacher. We also had the opportunity to spend time with an expert in hydration and fueling (sweat testing, advice and trial of products). The added advantage was that it was located in a great holiday destination during a time of year when it is less desirable to train in Australia.
Thank you Ollie, Ross and the rest of the crew that helped out with camp.
Can’t wait until next year!!

Used this camp in prepartion for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Mooloolaba 2016. This camp exceeded all my expectations. Absolutely loved it. Everything included, it really is an athletes dream there. I was able to get the fitness to the next level and learn a few things along the way like my sweat rate/sodium losses.

Amazing camp in a beautiful part of the world. Facilities were incredible with everything available on-site. My bike was damaged in-flight on the way but was able to hire a quality bike for the duration of the camp so did not miss out on the ride sessions.
Hot and cold plunge pools for recovery, fully kitted weights and aerobic rooms, spaces to host seminars and yoga sessions and an amazing pool that even a non-swimmer like me could enjoy.
Can’t wait to go back next July!

Cracking camp at a cracking venue with world class facilities. Train and live like a pro athlete (and maybe meet some too!) on this action packed camp. Amazing rides, perfect swimming pool and a 500m track plus roads and trails to run. With access to a spin room, compu training, yoga, spa, gym, and all manner of fitness activities you will not get bored. Video analysis, seminars on hydration and nutrition and plenty of personal coaching ensured I got heaps from the week with many takeaways for my upcoming racing. Definitely a camp to do at least once!

Just Brilliant ! Faultless facilities and what it’s to Offer. Fantastic people , coaches , resort staff and the admin very welcoming . Accomodating for all abilities . The training , defiantly takes you to a different level . Coupled up with very informative seminars : nutrition, hydration and personalised coaching onnthecrides, video analysis of technique correction of run and swim was amazing . Simply as a package delivered beyond expectations . Looking forward to next year .

Attending this camp was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I came along with a base level fitness of about 5%, and having a few sprint distance races under my belt, and want to kick my motivation back into gear. The coaches were phenomenal, what I appreciated the most was that I have had all elements of my technique tweaked and improved, with patience and constructive advice, without making me feel out of place with people fitter than myself.

The facility was great, neat and clean and the staff were lovely! The scenery on the rides were beautiful and the food was great! Night out was also lots of fun!

Overall it was an amazing way to spend time away from work!! I met some amazing people and I can’t wait for next year!
